Mathew Flynn
Co-Director - MusicFutures
Dr Mathew Flynn is the Director of the Institute for Popular Music at the University of Liverpool, Co-Director of MusicFutures, Co-Lead for the (Live) Music Mapping Project and a member of the Liverpool City Region Music Board. His research focuses on music industries decision and place-making.
MusicFutures is a five-year programme led by the University of Liverpool in partnership with Liverpool John Moores University, uniting 27+ partners to drive inclusive, sustainable innovation in music. Rooted in Liverpool’s UNESCO City of Music status, it’s shaping the UK’s future of music research, skills and enterprise.
