Supporting Grassroots Music, Arts Council, UK - Arts Council England and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport have launched an investment programme to support the grassroots music sector. NextGen Fund, Youth Music, UK - applications are now open for the NextGen Fund. The NextGen Fund offers emerging creatives (aged between 18 - 25 years old, or 18 - 30 years old (if someone identifies as d/Deaf, Disabled of Neurodivergent)) creative grants of up to £3000 to make their ideas happen. PPL Momentum Music Fund - this fund offers grants of £5k - £15k for UK based artists / bands to break through to the next level of their careers. Activities eligible for support include recording, touring and marketing. There are four rounds of this throughout the year. Round One is open now and closes on 2nd February. Early Career Promoter Fund - this fund is aimed at supporting emerging promoters across the UK. Grants of up to £3,500 are eligible for successful applicants. Applications are open now with deadlines every other month. The upcoming deadline is 12th February [MORE DETAILS]
Hitmaker Fund - this fund offers grants of £5k - £10l to songwriters and producers working in popular music genres to further develop their careers. There are two rounds of this throughout the year. The Open Fund for Music Creators - this fund offers grants of up to £5,000 to music creators of all genres and backgrounds at different stages of their career. There are two rounds of this. Fast Track, Help Musicians - musicians are able to apply for a short-term fund of £500 throughout the year to support opportunities. Artists may spend the money on things such as a short course, investing in new software, or taking opportunities to record, release or perform that will help you to fulfil your ambition [MORE DETAILS]
The Sarah Nulty Power of Music Foundation, Sheffield - The Power of Music Foundation supports people of any in age in Sheffield who are socially or economically disadvantaged. They work with individuals and organisations supporting people with disabilities and complex needs, with children and schools and with anyone experiencing hardship.
