Launchpad Connect
Since 2019, over 150 artists, labels, managers and early career music professionals from across Yorkshire have been supported through Launchpad.
Launchpad Connect aims to empower existing or aspiring artists and music professionals with the skills and knowledge to navigate a career in music whilst also building an important peer support network. Successful applicants to the programme will be provided with:

You’ll speak with our team who’ll help you to decide which of our advisors would be most useful for you to talk to based on your individual needs. Our advisors include radio DJs, professional artists, promoters, publicists, managers, events organisers, sync directors, accredited coaches and producers. Sessions with advisors cover management, releasing, building an identity, songwriting, live, production and much more. Find out more about our advisors HERE.
The opportunity to join our online community for supported artists and music professionals past and present to update each other on what they’re doing, ask questions and get support via a group chat. Our team will be available to help with any questions that the community can’t answer.
Regular check-ins with our Launchpad Connect project co-ordinator to assess your ongoing support needs.
The opportunity to attend social meet ups so that those who are able to can connect in person with current and previously supported people.
Invites to our regular Music Industry Insights online sessions. Topics covered in these sessions include getting release ready, promotion and marketing, managing royalties, live opportunities and funding.

“The support we received through Launchpad will undoubtedly carry us through our music career, with feedback and advice that has already affected our position in the industry. Each session was invaluable, with every person really taking the time to understand us as artists as well as our work. From meeting friendly faces to learning about areas we didn't previously understand, to actionable insights that we've already put into place - we can't thank Launchpad enough for what we've gained from this.”

“Support from Launchpad enabled us to set up our mailing list and our advisor provided invaluable insights about music marketing for small labels. Like many people in the arts we feel like outsiders to the system so Launchpad has really helped us.”
