Yasmeen, also known as MUSYS, is a DJ, radio host, and occasional sound artist operating in the DIY music and art scene. She has been awarded ACE funding to support her creative practice, souqsounds - a multi-art and music platform, birthed out of a radio show in 2021. She has guest curated for film festivals, bringing SAFAR film festival to Leeds in 2025. She has hosted a number of panels and podcasts in the past, both in front of, and behind, camera.
