Laura ‘Hyperfrank’ Brosnan is a music journalist, documentary producer, photographer and Executive Editor of TRENCH Magazine. They began in 2006 with the influential blog Hyperfrank—named one of Europe’s Top 25 music blogs—becoming known for breaking new talent and documenting defining moments in UK underground music, from Skepta, Chip and Scorcher.

Their writing has appeared in i-D, The Guardian, Time Out, Complex UK and Notion, telling stories that connect music, culture and community. Since 2020, Laura has also worked in television, producing award-winning series and music shows. Their debut documentary Together We Rise won Best Popular Factual Entertainment at the Broadcast Digital Awards, and they’ve since created for BBC, Mercury Studios, YouTube Originals and BET UK.

They also run Frank Archives, a project sharing collections of rare photography and stories from nearly two decades documenting UK music culture.
