Kate Hendry is Head of Label Operations at Absolute Label Services, one of the most established independent label services companies in the world. With a career in the music industry spanning over two decades, Kate joined Absolute in 2010 and has risen through the ranks from Digital Manager to Senior Label Manager to her current management role, where she her main duties are campaign and product management, commercial physical distribution and marketing, new business acquisition, and team growth & maintenance.

Kate's passion for taking music to market has driven chart successes and streaming milestones across a diverse roster - from Sea Power's first UK Top 5 album and edbl's 130M streams milestone, to campaigns for Kula Shaker, Kaiser Chiefs, Feeder, Billy Lockett, zeck, & many more.

Earlier in her career she held roles at Virgin Records America and artist management company & label No Half Measures / Measured Records.

A regular voice on industry panels, Kate is a fierce advocate for independent music and the artists behind it.
