For the past fifteen years Christian Carlisle has showcased the finest emerging talent on BBC Introducing in South Yorkshire and, more recently, West Yorkshire alongside Emily Pilbeam.

His career as a DJ has seen him play everything from sporting events in the Middle East to the some of the biggest festivals in the UK.

BBC Music Introducing is the BBC's primary discovery platform for unsigned and under-the-radar musical talent in the UK. Since its launch in 2007, it has helped launch the careers of major stars like Ed Sheeran, Florence + the Machine, Lewis Capaldi, and Little Simz.
