Artists / Youth Progression Coordinator - Satnam Galsian / Launchpad
Satnam is a British Asian singer-songwriter and progressive folk artist whose music blends the rich traditions of Punjabi folk with contemporary feminist storytelling. She performs both as a solo artist and with her cross-genre trio, Kinaara.
Alongside her artistic work, Satnam facilitates community music sessions with a strong focus on music and mental health. She is part of the Wild Moon Folk Collective and the organising team for The Circle Social.
As Youth Progression Coordinator for Launchpad, she delivers talks to young people about careers in the music industry and creates performance opportunities for under-25s.
She also serves on the Board of Trustees for Made With Music and the Board of Directors for Daz in the Hat Radio CIC.
