Label Manager / Artist Manager - Melodic

While studying and working shifts in the IKEA restaurant (meatballs, not management), he blagged his way into an internship at Melodic Records. More than a decade later, he’s now one of the label’s directors, still juggling the chaos of spreadsheets, studio sessions, and tour logistics with the same energy as day one. Andy has helped steer campaigns for artists including Strawberry Guy, Nightbus, Nadia Reid, and W. H. Lung amongst others.

Melodic is an independent label based in Manchester, established in 1999 with a vision to champion forward-thinking music across genres. Over the years Melodic has built a reputation for nurturing distinctive artists at the intersection of left-field pop, electronic and guitar music, releasing early records from the likes of Strawberry Guy, Dark Dark Dark, Working Men’s Club, and W. H. Lung. With a keen ear for emerging talent, the label continues to support artists who push boundaries. Recent signings include Nightbus, Shaking Hand and Formal Sppeedwear, who carry Melodic’s ethos of timeless songwriting and adventurous production into a new era. Beyond records, Melodic works closely with its artists on management, publishing, and creative strategy, offering a holistic home for long-term careers. Melodic remains proudly independent and is celebrating over 25 years in the industry.
