Lois
Carving out her own space in the alt-pop landscape, Lois has quickly established herself as an important rising voice amongst the next wave of Northern artists. With a lyrical eye for the experiences that often go unspoken, the Leeds-based songwriter has navigated topics ranging from grief to identity through her music. Now, with two EPs and sold-out shows, Lois is introducing a new side of her artistry.
Having started songwriting as a teenager to process experiences that were hard to describe, Lois left her hometown of Morecambe at age 16 to study music. Signing her first record deal at 19, Lois released her debut EP ‘Strange Men’ in 2023. Building on slots at Kendal Calling and the Royal Albert Hall, supports alongside The Lottery Winners and SOFY, 2025 kickstarted Lois’ next chapter as an independent artist.
Named as BBC Introducing’s EP Of The Year and supported by BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, and Notion, Lois’ second project ‘SEVEN’ saw her let go of the experiences that once defined her. Now, fresh from her debut tour, 2026 will see Lois release her third project. Channelling influences from Prince and Blondie to Self Esteem, it hones a sound that’s unapologetically her own.
