Ash Doherty (Musician & Events Assistant)

Ash is an Irish-born and Leeds-bred musician, artist manager and events assistant. After graduating from Leeds College of Music in 2018 she gained experience in music marketing, working with Oxjam Leeds, MAP Charity and most notably with Music:Leeds and Launchpad. Her passion for events grew through performing around the UK and promoting shows in Leeds, and she is currently the festival assistant at manchester jazz festival.

An avid keys player, Ash performs in Leeds based bands Mamilah and Joshua Zero, as well as delivering music workshops with Live Music Now. As the manager of Mamilah she has driven forward the release of 2 EP’s, gained the support of Clash Magazine, Jazz FM & BBC Introducing, managed multiple UK-wide tours and performed at festivals including Boomtown, El Dorado, manchester jazz festival and Tramlines.
