Looking for a laid-back space to share your creativity? Join Leeds Libraries in partnership with Launchpad for an Open Mic Night at Leeds Central Library.

Taking place on Wednesday 28th of January 2026 from 5pm until 7:30pm

Whether you’re experienced or just want to try something new, this is your chance to hop on stage and show what you’ve got in a super chill, welcoming environment. No pressure, just good vibes and good people.

Participants must be 25 or under, under 16s accompanied by a parent/carer.

Open mic code of conduct / expectations:

  • Respect the Space: Please treat our building, equipment, and staff with care.

  • Keep it Clean: Refrain from using swearing or explicit lyrics.

  • A Safe Environment: This is a safe space for everyone. We have zero tolerance
    for racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, or body shaming.

  • Show Your Support: Please arrive early to check in and stay to cheer on other
    acts!

  • Share the Stage: Sets are limited to 15 minutes to ensure everyone gets a
    chance to shine.

  • Cancellations: If you booked a slot but can't make it, please let us know as soon as possible.

  • Under 16s: Must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
