Jack Arnold

I am based in Hull and have ran D.I.Y independent promotions and events through 'Twisted Nipple Events' for the past 3 years. From humble beginnings doing small charity gigs, to sold out Adelphi shows with emerging artists like Snayx and Avalanche Party. This year I applied for, and was successfully awarded the Early Career Promoter fund from the PRS Foundation. Twisted Nipple events are big advocates for safe spaces, especially for those in the LGTBQ+ community. We promote gigs raising the profile of queer and female artists. I have had extensive training revolving around keeping people safe at gigs.

As well as a promoter, I am keen budding journalist, and self published my own magazine 'The Twisted Rag' back in February. I also write part time for Soundsphere Magazine.

I am part of The New Adelphi steering group, which is a group of volunteers that predecess the board of directors and help make decisions to evolve Adelphi and help secure it's healthy future.

I am an avid gig goer and attend around 150 gigs a year. I enjoy wearing customized clothes and bold makeup. My favourite genre is post punk (especially with a brass section ) or anything weird and advant garde.
