Anna Ross

Anna is a Welsh bassist and promoter, coming to Leeds in 2021 to study jazz and popular music.
Anna runs Offshoots, an event series which aims to promote diversity in jazz, avant-garde and experimental music within grassroots venues across Leeds.

Since beginning in 2023, she has gained funding from Generator, Jazz North and the PRS Foundation as well as running events for Leeds Jazz Festival in 2024 and 2025.

Alongside this, Anna has worked and volunteered at festivals such as Greenman Festival, Love Supreme and Leeds Jazz Festival in a range of roles like stewarding, stage managing and artist liaison.”
