Lucky Iris

Next release: Lucky Iris x Lynks - lalalalala
(embargoed until 20th Oct ‘26)

Pop duo Lucky Iris are ”busy smashing pop archetypes to pieces” and turning heads with their crunchy, hyperpop infused, electro beats. Made in Leeds and formed of Maeve and Jasper, in January ‘26 the pair released their debut mixtape ‘fall in love with the dj’, their boldest sonic statement yet.

Since the release of ‘fall in love with the dj’, Lucky Iris have been met with warm reviews and sustained praise from respected tastemakers across music and culture, including Rolling Stone UK, Clash, DIY, Wonderland, NME, The Line of Best Fit, Dork, Far Out Magazine, The Forty Five, BBC Radio 1 Dance, and BBC 6 Music. Further cementing their ascent, the duo were named in the prestigious NME 100 for 2026, spotlighting them as one of the most essential emerging artists in the UK. They were also invited to curate a guest mix for BBC 6 Music’s New Music Fix, while the mixtape’s title-track single landed a coveted spot on the station’s Roundtable show. What began as a bedroom pop experiment during lockdown has now fully transformed, with the mixtape propelling Lucky Iris into bold, genre-blurring territory and marking a defining moment in their artistic evolution.

Lucky Iris were also made Spotify’s Radar Artist of the Week for their release (previous Radar artists include: Griff, Central Cee, Rose Gray), with 2 editorial covers, making a total of four editorial covers across their latest project so far, a tally of over 20 Spotify editorial playlists for the project. Following this Lucky Iris were heard on Match of the Day and Next Gen NYC (Bravo), chosen as an Abbey Road Equalise artist, subsequently playing their stage at SXSW London and Headingley Stadium for The Hundred.
