Vijay Mistry

Vijay is a musician, songwriter and producer based in Leeds, UK. Entirely self-taught, he is best known as the drummer for Kaiser Chiefs, a role which has seen him perform on the world’s biggest stages as well providing opportunities to meet and work alongside hundreds of people from creative industries as well as those within the music industry.

Prior to Kaiser Chiefs Vijay spent over a decade on the DIY music scene playing in various bands. During this time he worked on all aspects of music and creativity from writing, recording and playing live to planning album releases, video shoots, organising tours and promotion.

Vijay’s relentless passion for music and creativity together with his wide breadth of experience from local to worldwide level gives him the ideal vantage to view projects from all angles.
