Artist / Songwriter & mentor for TRACKS

Anti-genre in her approach, Rhiannon’s music flows between rock, folk, grunge, pop and touches on much more beside. She combines the angst of PJ Harvey with the introspective melancholia of Adrienne Lenker, all the while a monster talent on the guitar.

TRACKS create safe, welcoming spaces where young people can mess around with music, try things out and figure out who they are as artists. We work with freelance, working musicians, so what young people are learning is rooted in the real world, not just theory.

Our focus is really on the whole young person — building musical skills, confidence and connection at the same time. We’re especially keen to reach young people who don’t always get access to music education, and we design our programmes to be inclusive, flexible and shaped by young people themselves.

We run an open-access music school, alternative provision, and tailored projects with looked-after children, schools and children’s hospitals, alongside live gigs and recording opportunities — all aimed at making sure young people feel welcome and able to reach their creative potential.
