Ollie Cruse

Music Licensing Agent - Mixtape Music

Before joining Mixtape in 2011 Ollie spent a decade working in advertising agencies in London making campaigns for brands like BBC, The Times, ITV, Land Rover, o2 and Remington.
His licensing career started with a focus on European projects and advertising deals but he now works across all licensing briefs from local micro-deals to major Hollywood films.

He brings his experience (and contacts) to bear in getting new alternative music in the mix for a load of projects and remains a proud diehard independent agent.

He relocated back to his home city of Leeds with his family in 2023 and continues to straddle time zones from there. When not working he plays guitar in a couple of North Leeds dad bands.
He was at that Oasis gig at the Duchess of York in April ’94.

Mixtape Music is a sync licensing agency specialising in representing new and alternative artists, run by music supervisor Roxanne Oldham in LA with Ollie handling the licensing side worldwide.
Mixtape Music has represented some brilliant indie labels, such as Wichita, Melodic, Goner Records, Innovative Leisure, Trouble in Mind, Carpark, Tough Love, Phantasy Sound, Lucky Number and more, in various territories.
