Music House Gospel Choir
For over 130 years, Music House has united communities through music, making singing and creativity accessible to all. The Music House Gospel Choir continues this legacy, offering a free, inclusive space where people of all backgrounds can connect, express themselves, and share a love of music.
Led by MOBO legend Leroy Johnson and Creative Director Christella Litras, the choir has quickly grown into something extraordinary. Their leadership and passion have shaped a dynamic group that brings together singers of all ages, experiences, and walks of life—particularly notable for its strong male representation, a rarity in community choirs.
In just a few months, the choir has made a remarkable impact. Highlights include performing at the Lord Mayor’s Inauguration, Leeds West Indian Carnival, and a sold-out 800-seat show at Leeds Playhouse. They also featured on Channel 5’s Winter on the Farm Christmas Special, marking a milestone in their journey.
More than just a choir, it’s a vibrant celebration of unity and diversity through music. Whether you're a seasoned performer or a complete beginner, the Music House Gospel Choir welcomes everyone with open arms.
