Madeleine is an 18yo singer songwriter from Yorkshire, who blends girl next door chic with raw vulnerability. Inspired by Lizzy McAlpine, Phoebe Bridgers and Joni Mitchell, her songs are packed with teenage angst and retrospective lyrics complemented with memorable melodies.

She’s been gigging for over 2 yrs, most recently playing Live@Leeds In the City, Noise in the Valley and headlined HotVox presents at Hyde Park Book Club in Leeds.

Her debut EP released in Apr ’25 included the track ‘i wish’, a BBC Music Introducing’s ‘Track of the Week’.

Her latest single, ‘big star’, is a change up in sound with more new releases scheduled for the coming weeks – ‘favourite band’ is out in March.

Over the past six months, she’s been working on new material, including her latest single 'big star', and second single 'favourite band' (set to release in March). These songs mark a change in direction, where she has moved to a full backing band, as well as layering strings and organ to create a richer sound complimenting her unique vocal. And more recently was awarded Youth Music's Next Gen Fund - which she will be using to fund the creation of her debut album.
