Cherry Seraph

Cherry Seraph is the glimmering solo alt-pop electronic project of Leed-based queer producer, artist and musician Sophie Russell. FFO James Blake, FKA twigs, Marika Hackman. Supported by several times by BBC Introducing both on air and live, she has been named “The Next Big Thing” by Crash Records. In 2023, Russell debuted live in Paris as Cherry Seraph and has since performed across England (including Band on the Wall Manchester, The Bodega Nottingham, Sage 2 Newcastle, New Adelphi Club, Hull) and at multiple festivals using hardware synths and Ableton Push. She sold out her debut headline at Hyde Park Book Club in October 2024, and has supported the likes of the Miki Berenyi Trio (former bandmates of iconic shoegaze band, Lush), mui zyu, and Soda Blonde. “With her evolving sound and production approaches, she emerges as a standout talent in the northern music scene” - Under The Radar.
