Event Manager / Musician The Attic / Sunflower Thieves
Amy is the Venue and Events Manager at Leeds venue, The Attic, with several years’ experience across the events industry, including with Sofar Sounds, Leeds BID, various festivals including Boardmasters, Live at Leeds and Deer Shed, and previously co-running former Leeds venue, Mill Hill Chapel.
Amy is also one half of self-produced alt indie band, Sunflower Thieves, having toured across the UK and Europe, opening for the likes of Flyte, Haley Blais, Samantha Crain and The Staves. Sunflower Thieves have received national airplay across R1, R2, 6Music and Radio X, alongside consistent BBC Introducing support and their debut record has surpassed 1.3 million streams.
Additionally, Amy has previously worked for independent label 7476, hosted industry panels, including at Abbey Road’s ‘Equalise’ in 2024 and she is a member of the FAC Artist Council.
The Attic is a community-focused, multifunctional venue and creative arts space in Leeds city centre. Alongside our 200 capacity events room, we offer additional space for creative practice, such as rehearsal, songwriting, teaching, and a private outdoor area with seating. We have a varied programme of events, from gigs, to theatre, to life drawing, film screenings, supper clubs, ceilidhs and workshops.
